My lovely wife, Anitta, a redhead with the temperament to match, is a photojournalist. She worked as a photographer and digital imaging specialist at nando.net before we were married. She loves sports (especially UNC basketball) and has been to 6 of the last 7 ACC basketball tournaments as a member of the media. Not to mention a few World Series, NLCS, SuperBowl, SEC and NCAA tournament games.

The Wife is an admitted pyromaniac; she loves fire. There are lots of candles at our place, and any kind of flame holds a fascination for her. She always wanted to be a fire fighter, but this is the closest she's really gotten. Once when she was a photographer at the Durham Herald-Sun, the Orange County fire fighters lit up a house for practice and she went along. Suited up and went into the house with them -- she was living her "fireman dream."
