NOW PLAYING: Jack-Booted Thugs

24 April, 2000
Regardless of how you may feel about the whole Elian affair, the pre-dawn raid by armed agents of the Imperial Federal Gestapo sets a frightening precedent.

Though there was no court order granting custody of Elian Gonzalez to his father, the First Felon decided to use force to kidnap the child and give him to Juan Gonzalez anyway. Klinton couldn't wait eleven more days for the court hearing -- after all, they'd only waited five or so months until now.

federal child care

So, the Rapist-in-Chief, petulant over the fact that he was foiled by an Atlanta court ruling that Elian was to remain in the country until his hearing, sent in the stormtroopers to grab the kid. Emulating their cowardly commander, the jack-booted government thugs assaulted the house in the darkness of a holy weekend morning, wearing hoods to hide their identities and scaring the bejeebers out of Elian -- which showed exactly how "concerned" Klinton and Janet "the Butcher" Reno truly were about the welfare of the child.

"It's for the children!" Sure it is, Willy. I guess mixing guns and children is only appropriate when government goons are pointing them in a six-year-old's face, right?

J.R. Nyquist provides a translation of what the government's actions say to the nation:

"We will not show any sympathy to these people. Instead, we will show maximum hostility and distrust. We will not send someone with court papers and a sad smile to collect the boy. Instead, we will send armed combatants. Furthermore, we will not come on a weekday, but on a religious holiday weekend. We will not come at a decent hour, but in the darkness of morning. We will not ring the doorbell, but we will knock the door down and choke the residents with teargas. We will put guns to their heads and terrify them. We will not approach them as human beings. We will not give them a chance to cooperate, but we will trample them with our boots as an enemy. And if they offer no resistance, we will spare their lives."

What's next? If a government bureaucrat (Hillary, maybe?) decides that because you:

  1. have a firearm in the house
  2. home school your kid
  3. are religious
  4. disagree with the government
  5. refuse to drug your child with Ritalin
  6. say mean things about New Yorkers
  7. commit some other anti-PC action
  8. all of the above

...that you are an unfit parent, perhaps a government SWAT team is sent to grab your kid(s) and give them to someone else.

No court order, no warrant, no nothing -- only the whim of a federal stooge.

your face here
"I'm from the Government and I'm here to help you!"
