NOW PLAYING: O Christmas Tree (No Christmas Tree) 16 December, 1999 But we have a problem -- we're missing a box of Christmas Stuff, and one of the items in said Box is the Christmas tree stand. For some reason, this Missing Box wasn't stored with the rest of the boxes of Christmas Stuff, and after a semi-thourough search of the attic and the rest of the closets in the house, the Box has failed to turn up. This has, of course, put somewhat of a damper on the Festive Holiday Decorations at our place. There are some Christmas knick-knacks set up throughout the house, the living room is full of rolls of wrapping paper, gifts (both wrapped and unwrapped), and a set of miscellaneous Santas that are grouped on the TV cabinet, but there's a lonely patch of open space in one corner of the room. It was cleared out as a prime Christmas Tree site, and for the past two weeks it has been bare. I hate to break down and go buy another stand -- since the last time I looked, I think the darn things are about 30 bucks -- and I know that as soon as I do, we'll have two tree stands, because the Missing Box will finally show up. That's how it always seems to work. However, with the crucial date fast approaching, it seems as though there's no choice but to purchase another stand if we don't want to go treeless this year. O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree,
